Drainage and Bricks arrived 26-07

The bricks have arrived and the block is ready to cut.

The digger has started to dig the trenches for the drainage and sewer connection.

Marking of the existing sewer pipe:

The difficulty with this block is that is has an active sewer pipe running across the block cutting it almost directly in half. We decided to build over the sewer, and incur the increase cost to design and build the slab. Morgan Consulting Engineers drew up the plans. As you can in the above image the pipe is 1.07m below ground level.

As you can see in the above image from the dial before you dig website, 150mm pipe almost cuts the number 32 block in half.
